Grievance Redressal Cell:
Mekliganj College has established the Grievance Redressal Committee to address complaints from students. Students can electronically file their issues using the Grievance Form found on the College website or submit them in writing to the Head of the Institution. The committee will convene meetings when required and suitably handle issues, offering acceptable solutions. The Grievance Redressal Cell is available to all college students to address grievances regarding health care, academic matters, financial matters, the library, and other central services. Oral complaints are handled and made by students and placed in the “Suggestion Box.” A well-functioning complaint management system enhances stakeholder satisfaction and connections. The nature of this cell is quite private. Our students’ grievances are resolved by the Grievance Redressal Committee, which answers to the principal. The college campus is under CCTV surveillance to ensure the security of our students and staff.
Our institution has a zero-tolerance policy for any form of ragging or sexual harassment, the posters in the vicinity of the college campus reinforce the rules to be maintained by the students. There are separate statutory bodies to deal with incidents of sexual harassment and ragging respectively ICC and Anti-Ragging Committee.
